Legal Heir Certificate

Transfer property to lawful heirs after the owner passes away

Legal Heir Certificate

A Legal Heir Certificate allows the lawful transfer of property after the owner passes away. This is essential to ensure heirs can claim ownership or sell the property.

How It Works:

  1. Provide details of the deceased owner and your relationship with them.
  2. Fill in property information (Plot Type, Phase, Sector, Plot Number).
  3. Upload CNIC photos for all legal heirs, along with supporting documents like death certificate and succession certificate.
  4. DHA verifies the documents before issuing the Legal Heir Certificate.

Special Notes:

  • Original allotment or transfer letters may need to be submitted for cancellation before a new certificate is issued.
  • In case some heirs are abroad, an attested authority letter allows a representative to collect documents.
  • Minor heirs are not required to appear in person.
